Skating is something that I loved as a kid, and I've heard that Corey was quite the skater in his younger days. One of his relatives owned T's Skating Rink, so he spent a lot of time perfecting his skating skills. T's Skating Rink is also where I went to go skating. Neither one of us remembers seeing the other one there, but I'm sure at some point we were both at T's, skating our hearts out, at the same time. Who knows, I may have beaten him in a race, or maybe even skating limbo:)
With all that being said, the kids wanted to go skating over our Christmas break, so we loaded up one afternoon headed to Skate Place. Since we went on a weekday, the rink wasn't too crowded.
Cason started out a little slow but caught on quickly. He had been to a skating birthday party recently, so skating was still somewhat fresh to him.
Maddie & Jackson hadn't been skating in quite some time, so they were a little rusty.
By the time our skating session was over, they were figuring out to get around on four-wheels.
