Off to the Christmas Races

As soon as we finished opening gifts at our house, the firs leg our Christmas race began with a trip to Gram and Pop's house. Chris and his kids were patiently waiting for us to arrive, so the madness we call Christmas could commence. As soon as we got in our designated spots with cameras in hand, all the opening began.

Mason looks happy with the present she opened!

Jackson couldn't wait to shoot at the target with his new gun.

Cole, sporting his LT jersey, was all smiles.
Carter's new robot was a hit with all the kids.
Corey & I got a video camera from Gram & Pop.
Hopefully, I can figure out how to use it!

We all had worked up an appetite after opening all the gifts at Gram & Pop's, so we headed over to Granny's for Christmas breakfast. It was delicious, as usual!

Before the kids could open their presents, Corey's Uncle Troy had a special gift to unwrap. The special gift was a gun that belonged to Papa Maynard, Corey's grandpa. The gun hadn't been seen in a very long time, and was very special to Troy. It was an emotional beginning to a normally wild, and crazy event.

After all the tears were dried, the craziness began!

The final leg in our Christmas race was at Mamaw & Papaw's house, where we opened more presents and ate more yummy food. There seems to a pattern forming here!!!

We survived another fun-filled Christmas race. I am so thankful that we have so many homes to race to, so many gifts to open while we are there, so many special people to see, and so many wonderful memories to make.
